Our Alpine Dream Golf Tour is crafted to help you relax and unwind – putting you in Harry Vardon’s tranquil frame of mind. We’ll play on beautiful courses set in the foothills of the Alps, each offering magnificent scenery. The tour is designed with a leisurely pace, featuring short drives between destinations, ensuring you never feel rushed at the golf course. Our carefully selected hotels* offer extensive wellness and spa facilities, where you can rejuvenate and refresh at the end of the day.

On this tour we provide a comprehensive auxiliary program for non-golfers, with visits to historic sites, ensuring everyone enjoys the journey. The tour includes five rounds of golf and three full days with integrated activities. Even on golf days, there are fun experiences for the entire group to enjoy together.

The tour kicks off south of Munich in Murnau am Staffelsee, a charming town known for its blend of nature, art, culture, and relaxation. We’ll stay here for three nights and play two courses in the area: St. Eurach Golf & Country Club, which has hosted the BMW Open on the European Tour, and Golfclub Garmisch-Partenkirchen, offering stunning views at the edge of the Alps.

We’ll then head east to Chiemsee (Lake Chiem) for a together day of exploration, visiting the islands and the Bavarian Versailles. The next day, we’ll tee off at the spectacular Achental Golf Resort, Bavaria’s newest must-play course. Our journey continues with a trip to Austria’s Salzburg region, where we’ll play at Golfclub Eugendorf, a picturesque championship course known for its exceptional service. We’ll then head to Golfclub am Mondsee, set along the shores of a glacial lake with magnificent alpine views, for our final round. On our last full day, we’ll return to Munich via the Valley of Millionaires, with plenty of free time for shopping or preparing for your departure.

* You can book this tour with either 4- or 5-star accommodation. Please see the Itinerary tab for details on the hotels and the auxiliary program for non-golfers, and the Price tab for pricing information.

Included:

St. Eurach Hole 9

Today, we play the Championship course at St. Eurach Golf & Country Club, nestled in the rolling foothills between Munich and the Alps. Set amidst stunning natural surroundings, St. Eurach offers a delightful challenge for golfers of all skill levels. As a member of the Leading Golf Courses of Germany, it has earned its reputation, having hosted the BMW Open on the European Tour for three years in the 1990s.

For our non-golfers, the day includes a visit to Linderhof Palace, the small yet opulent retreat of King Ludwig II, as well as an extended tour of Oberammergau, the renowned Passion Play village.

In the afternoon, we’ll all come together at Andechs, home to Bavaria’s premier monastery brewery, where we’ll enjoy its legendary brews and pleasant views from the beer garden over the farmland.

Dinner this evening is at your leisure.

Included:

Golf Club Garmisch-Partenkirchen

Nestled at the feet of the Alps, Golfclub Garmisch-Partenkirchen is a true gem for avid golfers. While the course is relatively flat despite its mountainous location, it offers a unique and challenging experience with stunning views from every hole. A special highlight is the crystal-clear drinking water flowing through the streams on the back nine, adding a magical touch to the landscape. This is a course that will leave a lasting impression!

For our non-golfers, today’s adventure takes you to Zugspitze, Germany’s highest peak. From there, you can take in panoramic views and even cross the border into Austria.

After a round of golf, we’ll explore both halves of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, followed by a group dinner at a cozy alpine restaurant, where you can savor local flavors in a picturesque setting.

Included:

Today we have a golf-free day to explore, and we head east to the picturesque Chiemgau region and Chiemsee (Lake Chiem), Bavaria'a largest lake. Our first visit is to Herrenchiemsee Palace, the largest, most ambitious, and most expensive project undertaken by King Ludwig II. Often referred to as the Fairy Tale King—or, by some, the Mad King of Bavaria—Ludwig II was a passionate admirer of King Louis XIV of France, who lived 200 years before Ludwig. He chose an island on  as the ideal secluded location for his own version of Versailles. More a private museum than a working court palace, Herrenchiemsee will astonish you with its grandeur, opulence, and exquisite attention to detail.

After touring the palace, we’ll travel to a much smaller island for lunch, leisurely strolls, and perhaps some shopping. Frauenchiemsee, known as the "Women's Island," is a charming village with around 200 residents. Famous for its craft shops, beautifully manicured gardens, and smoked fish, this island offers a peaceful escape and never fails to delight.

Our hotel for the next two nights is just minutes away, giving you plenty of time to relax and enjoy the wellness facilities before dinner on your own this evening.

Included:

Das Achental Golf

This morning, we tee off at Das Achental, Bavaria’s newest must-play course. As a member of the Leading Golf Courses of Germany, this 18-hole championship layout offers generous landing areas and large greens. The fairways wind beautifully around picturesque lakes, meadows, and towering old-growth trees, with the stunning alpine backdrop adding to the course's charm. Every hole provides a unique and scenic challenge, making for an unforgettable round.

For our non-golfers, today’s tour takes you on a delightful journey through some of Bavaria’s most scenic villages. This relaxed, leisurely day offers time to explore quaint streets, browse charming shops, or enjoy a traditional coffee and cake in several picturesque towns nestled in the foothills of the Alps.

This afternoon, the whole group will come together to enjoy breathtaking views and happy hour at the summit of Hochfelln, a local mountain offering stunning scenery without the crowds. We’ll then gather for a delicious group dinner at a cozy alpine inn nearby.

Included:

The 18-hole Championship Course Eugendorf offers a modern challenge that tests every aspect of the game. Set against the stunning backdrop of the alpine foothills, the course features a variety of interesting and engaging holes. Eugendorf was one of the first courses in Austria to embrace the extensive use of golf carts, and service is a top priority here. The clubhouse even boasts its own golf museum, adding a unique cultural touch to the experience.

For our non-golfers, today’s destination is the magnificent city of Salzburg. The entire Old Town is a UNESCO World Heritage site, and there’s ample time to explore and soak in the sights of this historic city, famous for its musical heritage as the birthplace of Mozart and the setting for The Sound of Music.

Tonight’s group dinner is a special treat: a Mozart Concert Dinner in Salzburg, combining fine dining with a live performance of the composer’s timeless music.

Included:

Mondsee Golf

Today marks our final round of golf, and it’s a truly special one. Golfclub am Mondsee (Moon Lake) sits on the shores of one of the pristine alpine glacial lakes near Salzburg. While the main lake is breathtaking, it’s the smaller Drachensee (Dragon Lake) that defines the course. Holes 15 through 18 wind around this picturesque lake, offering a unique and exciting challenge. From nearly every hole, you'll be treated to stunning views of the surrounding mountains, making this a round you won’t soon forget.

The non-golfers also have a memorable day ahead. They’ll explore the picturesque valleys of the Austrian Alps, with stops in two iconic destinations: the world-renowned village of Hallstatt and the impressive Hohenwerfen Castle, where they’ll enjoy an exciting falconry show.

Dinner is on your own tonight, offering you the chance to relax and reflect on an unforgettable day.

Included:

Today, we make our way back to Munich, taking a scenic route around the mountains and visiting two of our favorite alpine lakes south of the city. Nestled in serene valleys, these lakes perfectly capture the essence of what makes this Bavarian Dream tour so special.

Our first stop is a fascinating open-air farmhouse museum in Schliersee, where you’ll gain insight into rural mountain farming life through the centuries. From there, we head to Tegernsee, a picturesque lake in the famed Valley of Millionaires, for a leisurely lunch and perhaps a refreshing beer.

We return to Munich by mid-afternoon, giving you ample time for some last-minute shopping and to unwind before your flight home tomorrow.

The golf courses here feature lush landscapes and varied terrains, thanks to the region’s ideal climate and soil. Most courses are semi-private and well-maintained. The courses on this tour are particularly scenic.

There are two main differences to note.

First, most players here walk the course, as golf carts can be rare. Instead, many use high-tech electric trolleys, which can cost a few thousand Euros. (Incidentally, this means there are no "cart path only" or "90°" rules.) However, don’t worry – all the courses we play have golf carts available, and cart or electric trolley rental is included in the tour price.

Second, the majority of tournaments here use the Stableford format, so many players focus on points rather than strokes. But rest assured, this is a fun tour designed for enjoyment, not a competitive tournament week.

One more thing: beverage carts are exceptionally rare – except on our Alpine Dream Golf Tour. We'll ensure you stay hydrated and energized, especially on the back nine!

If you prefer to travel light, we can arrange rental sets for you. We offer two options:

  1. Complimentary Clubs – We have a few recent model sets from well-known brands that we provide at no extra cost. If you'd like, we can show you the options via Zoom, WhatsApp, or FaceTime.
  2. Premium Rentals – If you'd prefer to rent a newer set from our partner brands, we can arrange that as well. Just let us know, and we’ll be happy to work with you to organize the right set for you.

Certainly. We’ve allocated just over six hours for each round, allowing plenty of time to warm up, hit a few balls, and familiarize yourself with the greens before the round begins.

Absolutely. Relaxing on the terrace, enjoying the view, and sipping a cold Bavarian beer after the round is one of the true pleasures of golfing here.
